Faith Community Hospital will on Monday, September 14, 2015 be hosting Fort Richardson Lodge No. 320 of Jacksboro along with Michael Wiggins, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Texas, along with other Grand Lodge Officers, in conducting a special cornerstone leveling ceremony in the lobby of the new hospital facility.
The ceremony will be conducted beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m. at the new structure and the public is invited.
The hospital will be open to the public beginning on September 21, 2015.
This dedication ceremony is the symbolic laying of the cornerstone, that which supports symbolically the entire structure. When the cornerstone is discussed in the ceremony, by extension, it refers to the entire building project, and that, in turn refers not only to the actual physical actions to erect the building, but also to the mental, spiritual, even metaphysical energies that have come together to cause the creation of the edifice. The officers conducting the ceremony, usually officers of the state’s Grand Lodge, symbolically square, level, and plumb the cornerstone, assuring that it is set correctly, that “the Craftsmen have done their duty.”
