Jacksboro OAP take the stage

The Jacksboro High School One-Act Play cast and crew competed at the bi-district round of competition at NCTC in Gainesville on Friday, April 1st against very tough competitors.  The high energy, fast paced show had the audience rolling with laughter.  At the awards ceremony, Jacksboro was able to come away with honors.  An Honorable Mention All Star Cast award was earned by Travis Tominson.  Karson Hood secured an All Star Cast award.  Best Actor for the overall contest was awarded to Jacob Wykes.
Jacksboro OAP will be advancing to the Area competition which will be held on Friday, April 8 in Denison.  Congratulations JHS OAP!!

Present to observe and support their bi-district performance were many parents, grandparents, retired teachers, as well as JISD Superintendent Dennis Bennett and JHS Principal Brad Burnett.
