Friends of the Jacksboro Animal Shelter will hold its monthly bake sale/adoption from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Lowes Market.
The shelter is full of owner-surrender and unclaimed dogs which are ready for new homes!
Trouble was found Monday, and this cute little boy is now ready for adoption.
Also looking for furever homes are: Luke, a 1-year-old male who likes other dogs; Rusty, an 8-month-old Shepherd mix; Danny, a 1 1/2-year-old big snuggle-bug; and Leroy, a very shy 2-year-old Chesapeake Retriever. All these boys have had their parvo/distemper and Bordetella vaccinations.
Adoption fee is $30, which includes neuter and microchip!
Stop by Lowes Market and find out how YOU can make a difference for these 5 furry friends.
Oh, and pick up some yummy baked goods while you’re there! All money raised helps pay for spay/neuter fees, vaccinations, foster/rescue costs and shelter upkeep.
Friends of the Jacksboro Animal Shelter is grateful to the community for its support, and also to Larry and the entire crew at Lowes Market for welcoming their monthly adoption/bake sales.
“We adopted out four of the five dogs at our last event, which is a huge success in my opinion,” said Kim Gibby, president of the Friends of the Jacksboro Animal Shelter. “I hope to top that this weekend by finding homes for all the dogs we bring to the adoption.
“We are truly blessed by the support we receive from Lowes Market and its customers,” Gibby added. “Without them we wouldn’t be able to purchase the needed services and supplies that enable us to find homes for all these animals.”
