An investigation is underway in the death of a man found in the southeastern area of Jack County yesterday. A 911 call was placed to the Jack County Sheriff Office around 1:30 p.m. and officers were called out to the Joplin area residence where the body was discovered. Official details have not been released pending investigation by Texas Rangers and the DA, who are in the process of interviewing possible witnesses. The victim was taken to the Dallas County Medical Examiner, where an autopsy is being processed. Although the Jack County Sheriff Office, Jack County Constable, Texas State Troopers and the EMT team from Faith Community Hospital quickly responded, it was too late to save the man’s life. More details will be released as the investigation continues.
