The Jack County New Edition will host the First Annual Trunk -R- Treat On the Square, (TOTOTS) Halloween night from 6 p.m. til 9 p.m.
Spaces are available, at no cost, for anyone that would like to hand out candy to trick or treaters! Costumes are welcomed! There will be a contest for the Best Decorated “Trunk”, where votes will be determined with a donation of any non perishable item to be used to restock the Perrin Food Pantry. The TOTOTS will be a fun and safe place for families to enjoy trick or treating.
City Council members approved the closing of the 100 block of Archer Street and the 100 block of Church Street (downtown) for the event. Individuals, churches, organizations, and businesses are encouraged to participate!
Decorate your trunk! (NOT mandatory, but FUN!) We will have a Trunk Decoration contest. Vote for your favorite trunk with a donation of a non-perishable food item to benefit the Perrin Food Pantry!
Car parking will begin at 4 p.m. In the event that severe weather hinders the TOTOTS, it will be moved to Sunday afternoon. If the weather is rainy, with the absence of lightning or other severe issues, the TOTOTS will go on as scheduled. In the event of severe weather, we will post updated information on our Facebook page (Jack County New Edition) as well as twitter.
