In a tradition that began in 1988, the Jack County Sheriff Posse will, once again, hold the Rodeo Queen contest. Always a fan favorite, the Rodeo Queen contest awards a new 2 Horse trailer to the winner, a saddle and other prizes to the runners up. Many a familiar name has been added to the list of Rodeo Queens, from across the county, including those such as Jessica Francis (Perrin) Regan Overton (2015) and the first queen, Melissa Rhodes (1988).
The main prize that these ladies vie for is a 2 horse trailer. Sponsored by a host of advertisers, the trailer is used by the Rodeo Queen to haul horses and equipment to other rodeos across Texas. According to Jr. Mower, there is still time and room for business (or individuals) to get their names on the trailer! At only $100, what better way to get your name (or business name) out there for potential customers to see! Call Lynn or Dooby at Nash Hardware (940-567-5461) for details, or to save your spot! Let the girls know you support them! And also note that there are a couple of box seats left, if you would like to have them call Lynn or Dooby. First come first served!
Not sure the year this was taken but the trailers are still just as nice and ready to travel!
