Perrin kids place well with Perrin kids

RAD Show Goats is smiling big today, with good reason. In a weekend Prospect show held at Floresville, Tx they placed well among the numerous competitors.
Ryder Hamilton placed second in his class with “Star” on Saturday, with Kate Argo placing 3rd with “Frosty” and then Argo and Frosty walked out of the ring on Sunday sporting a new blue ribbon, placing first in her class. The Prospect shows are a way to get animals prepared for the show ring later, during the stock show season. Both Hamilton and Argo have plans to be a part of the show season and are already working toward reaching their goal of success, with the help and guidance of RAD Show Goats owners, Ashley and David Hamilton, of Perrin. Ashley Hamilton takes the show season as seriously as anyone and considers herself a second mom to each of the baby goats she raises. From hauling, washing and clipping the show goats to training kids how to show, Hamilton has become a mentor and friend to Argo, who Hamilton “loaned” a show goat to during this past show at Perrin and again for the County Fair.
