FORT WORTH, TEXAS, January 20, 2017 – A trip to the “Fort Worth Stock Show” isn’t complete unless it includes enjoying the legendary World’s Original Indoor Rodeo. Families from near and far make an annual ritual to attend Stock Show’s storied rodeo in the historic Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Almost 1,200 rodeo athletes belonging to the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) will compete in 29 performances beginning today and running through February 4 at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.

With a purse of more than $600,000 up for grabs, contestants will battle it out to claim titles in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, team roping, bull riding and steer wrestling. With a multitude of performances to choose from, spectators have numerous opportunities to take in the thrills, excitement and tradition of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.
