‘BIG HOSS ULTIMATE DRIVE-IN MOVIE SERIES’ ENDS SUMMER
RUN SATURDAY WITH DISNEY/PIXAR’S INSIDE OUT
FORT WORTH, Texas (August 15, 2016) – The “Big Hoss Ultimate Drive-In Movie Series” benefiting Speedway Children’s Charities concludes its summer run Saturday with the showing of the blockbuster animated film Inside Out on the world’s largest TV at Texas Motor Speedway.

Inside Out will be featured on Big Hoss’ nearly 21,000 square feet of HD display that sits high above the Texas Motor Speedway backstretch while the infield will be set up in drive-in fashion for the 8 p.m. CT showing.

Inside Out is a 2015 American 3D computer-animated comedy-drama adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is set in the mind of a young girl named Riley Andersen (Kaitlyn Dias), where five personified emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Anger (Lewis Black), Fear (Bill Hader) and Disgust (Mindy Kaling) – try to lead her through life as her parents (Diane Lane and Kyle MacLachlan) move from Minnesota to San Francisco and she has to adjust to her new surroundings.

After premiering at the Cannes Film Festival in May of last year, Inside Out was released in North America on June 19, 2015. The film grossed $90.4 million in its first weekend, the highest opening for an original title at the time. It went on to accumulate over $857 million in worldwide box office revenue. The movie received several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, Golden Globe Award and a Critics’ Choice Award among others.

Admission is $20 per carload the day of the event at the South Tunnel or $15 with advance purchase that is available online at www.texasmotorspeedway.com.

The movie begins at 8 p.m. with the South Tunnel opening at 6:30 p.m. to allow moviegoers access to the infield drive-in parking area. They can access the South Tunnel directly by turning onto Allison Way off State Highway 114 that runs directly in front of the facility.

Moviegoers are permitted to bring their own food and beverage while Levy Restaurants also will have concession stands open on site. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the movie under the stars instead of inside their vehicles. No pets are permitted.
